What is a TIN?

  • I am an Asset Store Publisher
  • I am filling out my online tax interview form and have been asked for a TIN

TIN is a Taxpayer Identification Number. This may be a U.S. TIN, such as a Social Security Number (SSN), Employer Identification Number (EIN), or Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN). If you do not have a U.S. TIN, you may provide your Foreign TIN for your local country.
