Does my licence allow me to use the Unity Editor on multiple platforms?

  • I would like to use Unity on a variety of different operating systems

Users sometimes may want to use their license on different platforms. For example, they may use Unity at home on a PC but at work, they use a Mac.

Your Unity account will work on different platforms, no matter which license type you currently have. Currently, Unity offers its Editor in Windows and Mac. A Linux version is currently in beta.

Unity Personal users have an infinite amount of activations whereas Plus and Pro users only have two activations per license seat. Users are not strictly bound to a particular platform and can freely move between Windows, Mac and Linux as they wish.
