There are several ways to schedule a session:
- directly book an expert you have previously interacted with
- send a schedule request broadcast to selected experts you have previously interacted with
- send a schedule request broadcast to all available, busy and offline experts, without naming anyone in particular
This article describes how to do each of these.
Directly book an expert you have already worked with
If an expert you have already worked with is online, you can message them directly to set up a session.
Send a schedule request to an expert you have already worked with
Click Get Live Help, and when when Unity Live Help asks "Would you like to connect with experts you previously worked with?" select Yes. Alternatively, go to your dashboard and select My Experts > Request a Session. See How do I connect with an expert I previously interacted with? to learn more.
Select three time slots that are convenient for you, and click Schedule Expert.
Once you submit a scheduled request, the status of the request appears in your account dashboard in the My Requests section.
In your dashboard, go to Open Sessions to view your pending and upcoming confirmed schedule sessions.
Send a schedule request broadcast to all experts
To broadcast a scheduled request to all experts with the relevant expertise, click Get Live Help and enter your request details. See How do I post a help request? to learn more about posting requests.
Once you set your maximum your budget you can see how many online experts you can reach out to and an option to schedule the session at later date. Choose the schedule option to reach all currently busy and offline experts.
Click "schedule the session" to broadcast a scheduled request to all available, busy and offline experts. A schedule request broadcast always includes your maximum budget price. Unity Live Help displays a date and time selection menu. Select three-time slots that are convenient to you, and click Schedule Expert.
You can also click Schedule Session from the waiting screen after you submitted your request and it is taking longer than you expected to connect with someone.
