How can I change my mailing preferences?

Symptoms

  • How do I receive updates and news from Unity?
  • I am interested in receiving news and updates on topics from Unity, how can I receive emails like this?

Cause

I want to change my mailing preferences so I can receive news and updates on topics from Unity.

Resolution

To change mailing preferences simply go to the Unity 'sign in' page on this following link and log in.

Once logged in you will be on the 'My Account Settings' page.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will find 'Email Preferences' under the heading 'Communications', then click the 'Edit' button to the far right:

The next screen will take you to 'My profile Page', under the heading 'Email Permissions' you will be able to tick boxes on the specific topics and groups you may wish to hear news from via your Unity email account. 

Once you have selected which topics to receive emails from, select your preferred language from the drop down box at the bottom of the screen and click 'Submit'.

    How do you change your email address? this questions has been posted in the forums also. When you try to change your email address, it just highlights the current email in yellow.

    In relation to what Greg Meier was asking, I've changed my email address in account settings but this new email isn't correctly displayed on the mailing preferences page.  I'm still getting notifications to the old email.  How do we change the email on the mailing preferences page and not just the one under My Account Settings?

    I can see that you have spoken with one of our Customer Service Engineers regarding your issue.

    It seems that there was a technical problem with your account, that has now been resolved! I am glad to hear this!
